The contentious planning application for 300 houses on the edge of Honiton which was due to be returned to the Planning Inspection Committee tomorrow (11 July) is set to be postponed.
The application (see https://susiebond.wordpress.com/2014/07/06/for-the-third-time-of-asking-land-west-of-hayne-lane/ for full details) has been the focus of considerable concern to residents of Gittisham and Honiton.
A number of key consultees have only just sent their comments on the application to EDDC, and planning officers need to assess all the comments before putting a recommendation to the Planning Inspections Committee.
Officers will now be recommending that the committee defer the application for consideration at a later date once the late correspondence has been fully considered, any further discussions have taken place with consultees and a full and final report and recommendation can be presented to the committee.
